RTP Corvettes unofficial slogan is “Ready to Party”. Our members are very active in the club. We either host or attend one or two events each month including: exhibiting our cars at Pinehurst Concours d’Elegance, Biltmore Candlelight Tour Weekend, caravan to the National Corvette Museum and cruising to various fun events (Corvette show at Shelton Vineyards, airplane fly-ins at private air strips, Vette’s doin’ Charleston and so much more). Whether you want to socialize with other Corvette owners locally or go on a road trip, we’re the group for you – take a look at our 1 1/2 minute video on a typical year in the club.
A Bit About The Club History & Goals:
In the fall of 2005, a group of Corvette enthusiasts got together to explore the possibility of forming a Corvette club with an emphasis on social activities. The goal was to have fun with the car. In January 2006, the club was formed and incorporated with 18 members. Today we average 150 members and the club goals are:
- Enhance and promote the ownership of Corvettes
- Promote safe motoring
- Organize and support Corvette related functions
- Support the National Corvette Museum
- Support charitable events by giving back to the local community
