Below a bunch of us started out, meeting in Mebane NC for a short drive to Concord NC where the registration began.
Once we arrived both Loni and Pat helped with the registration process, we had some 240 cars in our group.
We had a 50/50 drawing, I believe better than 1500 went to the winner.
While the registration was going on, I had a chance to get out and look around at some beauties
The next morning we arrived at the Charlotte Motor Speedway for some laps. Click here for the Red Blur trying to catch Mello
After a driving on the track and visiting the Hendrick Heritage Museum, it was nice to sit down with great friends at dinner that night.
Below on the next day we headed to Dale Earnhardt Chevrolet to stage for the trip to Bowling Green. We had 250+ cars in our group, here are a few high lites.
Below, after arriving at the museum I found the RTP brick and some of the founding members bricks too. Also driving into the parking lot you can see the RTP banner.
During the first day at the museum, had to make a stop back at the car only to find a C8 next to me, well one slot away.
In fact the C8’s were scattered all over the parking area.
Below, seeing the damage done by the sink hole was just amazing for this first timer at the museum.
On to viewing the C8’s
This trip was a lot of fun and had entertainment too. I got to see friend from our club in Orlando FL, the procedure on putting a chair together and that “red” means to stop when driving the simulator.

The Professor and I manage to get in some tour laps at the NCM track. Click here to watch what it should have been like
Rich had some work done to his car.
