RTP Corvettes is proud to unveil the new 2016/2017 banner design that will fly at the National Corvette Museum (NCM). Our club pays the NCM $500 to produce and fly the banner for a year as a means of funding their organization. The banner is 30″ by 60″ long. Our NCM Ambassador, Frank Sancineto recommended we highlight our 10th Anniversary as a club this year. So both the Anniversary Logo and the Club Logo are featured. This represents the themes of Corvette as America’s Sports Car and Cruisin America. Joe Tricome, Pete Perolini and Frank Sancineto all contributed to the special 10th Anniversary Logo.

The new banner should go up in the next 3 to 4 weeks. Frank will take pictures when he goes to the museum’s anniversary celebration Labor Day weekend.

A key goal of RTP Corvettes is to support the National Corvette Museum which we have done in a variety of ways:

  1. Back when it was first formed, the club raised $2,500 to become a lifetime business member of the museum. This has many benefits including receiving a 1/4 page ad each year in the museum’s America’s Sports Car magazine.
  2. Sponsored a $600 brick which is placed prominently in front of the museum. In addition several club members personally sponsored bricks.
  3. Through the Carolina’s and Virginia Caravan many club members personally donated towards the purchase of an acre at the museum’s motor sports park.
